Jojo is a Plymouth based photographer who has been using a camera to express himself since 1996. He has exhibited nationally and published several previous photographic books. In this first volume, of what will be an annual sharing of projects under the heading PLAYTIME, Jojo presents images he has made over the previous eighteen months, working in the style of the photographic nude. I was commissioned to undertake the design and layout of the book, including the title logo such that it could be carried through to future volumes.
PLAYTIME represents a renewed commitment to getting my work to the public on an annual basis. I want to use the photo-book to do this because within its pages the viewer can have a more intimate relationship with my work than in a gallery setting.
